In 2009, while fighting and winning my battle with breast cancer, I decided to start Sherry's Pasta. In order to get the funds to buy a professional pasta machine, I sold my wakeboarding boat and began my venture. Drawing on my experience working in restaurants, and as a cook for tree-planting and firefighting crews in the wilds of British Colombia, I was able to put all my self-taught skills to work.
Shortly after opening the business, I became a member of the Rogue Valley Growers & Crafters Market, participating first as a food vendor and then also taking a seat on the board of directors. I have done several guest spots on our local new channels demoing my products as well as many other small local businesses.
As 30-year resident of Medford and a mother of three grown boys, I have been an active member of this amazing community, enjoying everything Southern Oregon has to offer.
